Nha Trang- The heaven of Summer Vacation In Vietnam

NHA TRANG - A PERFECT LOCATION FOR SUMMER HOLIDAY IN VIETNAM

If you want to find a perfect location for summer holiday, Nha Trang is what you are looking for. Nha Trang is a seaside town, also the capital city of Khanh Hoa Province – on the South Central Coast of Vietnam. Nha Trang is considered Vietnam’s most famous seaside resort-town with pristine beaches.

There are three interesting activities that make Nha Trang become a heaven for summer vacation.

One of them is Scuba Driving. It takes place within Nha Trang Bay Marine Protected Area (MPA), the shallow water is most suitable for beginners to learn how to swim. You can see a wide variety of small colourful tropical fish, moray eels, and pufferfish as well as thriving coral reefs. The bay also has a natural cave and swim-through tunnels, situated at Octopus Rock. It could fulfil yours under the sea adventure.

Through my experiences, it is the best thing since I have a chance to see different types of sea animals. Moreover, it is the best chance for viewing the beauty under the sea of Nha Trang.

Another activity is Boat Cruise / Island Hopping. Reactively clam weather with a wonderful ocean view, there are numerous tour operators that organise boat cruises to neighbouring islands daily. The boat cruise is inclusive of lunch, hotel transfers, and snorkelling gear rental, stopping at Mun Island, Mot Island, Tam Island, and Mieu Island for about an hour for each one. The tour also includes fun activities such as bonding games in the beach, visiting National Oceanographic Museum, enjoying seasonal fruits and drinks. It is the best chance for you to create a unique memory with your friends and family.

Exploring island and enjoying island experiences are what you can gain from this activity.

The last activity is Mud Baths. Locals believe the all-natural mud contains a wide array of minerals that can help relieve fatigue, remove dead skin cells, strengthen bones, and alleviate pain. It also helps you relax after exploring Nha Trang. Thus, Mud Baths are the best way for you to maintain your skin condition during the summer holiday. Moreover, visiting this place could help you to add some tips into your beauty routine list.

Nha Trang is not only a well-known magnificent seaside town but you could also have a chance to visit some famous historical structures in Nha Trang. One of them is Po Nagar Cham Towers.

It was built between 8th and 11th centuries by the Cham people who once ruled the central plain of Vietnam. The Cham people, who were Hindu in origin, had their own Sanskrit-based script. They are renowned for their skills in sculpture and architecture and left behind a legacy of artifacts and temple settlements not only in Vietnam, but also Cambodia and Thailand.

Po Nagar Cham Towers were built to honour the goddess Po Nagar- literally translated as 'The mother of the Country' -who is said to have taught agricultural and weaving skills to the Cham people. Later, historians have come to identify Po Nagar with the Hindu goddesses Bhagavati, the wife of Shiva, and Durga, the buffalo-demon slayer.

The towers of Po Nagar Cham are square red brick structure with protruding support frames and tapering roofs. There were once ten buildings, each dedicated to a different deity, but now only four remain. The tallest building, at 25 metres, the Po Nagar Kalan, is the most impressive.

To the centre of the complex, stands a tower of Cri Cambhu, goddess of fertility. The other two temples are the shrines of the Hindu gods Shiva and Ganesh respectively. Po Nagar Cham Towers are situated on the high ground of Mount Cu Lau on the bank of River Cai, a few kilometres north from the city centre.

Summer location is about beautiful beach and landscape. Hence, Nha Trang not only providing you those experiences but it also is a place for viewing some historical structures of Vietnam as well. Don't miss out Nha Trang in your summer vacation list!
